Security Now! // Episode 65

security now logo

This week’s Security Now is sporting a new logo! Bah-I liked the old one better, really got across the message of security, and well, wanting it now! This one’s good too, and features Steve Gibson’s mug, so no complaints. The jury’s still out whether I’ll keep using the old one or switch to the new one!

Anyway, on this week’s episode, Steve and Leo chat about why getting security right is so difficult, and hit on a couple of neat tips, like using secure socket or at least secure http to connect to GMail, more zero day exploits in XML core services and how to patch it right now until an official patch is released, and Steve finally releases a guide to safe IE usage-locking it down so you know you’re safe when you go online with it.
