crankygeeks logo

This week on CrankyGeeks, John C and Sebastian sit down with a couple of celebrities, at least as far as the web goes: Josh Wolf, Longest-Jailed Journalist in U.S. History, and Peter Scheer, Executive Director, California First Amendment Coalition. These two have amazing experiences to share and stories to tell, and they’ll be talking about Josh Wolf’s time in prison for refusing to hand over his videotape to police, and Peter Scheer’s opinions on the matter and the chilling effect it has on journalists nationwide. Among the other topics to be discussed are ethics and online censorship and whether bloggers should have the same rights as other journalists.
