This week’s first installment of DL.TV is up and away! I have to pause for a second to point out that I really really like the new format of the show-a lot of people might not even notice, but Robert and Patrick have definitely gotten into the groove and organize their shows and segments with tech news, product previews and reviews, and then some kind of demo or tip/trick that kind of caps off the show, and of course they hit on viewer questions-I think the show’s a lot more organized, and I’ve been noticing the format modification slowly over the past couple of weeks, it’s a good thing!
Anyway-on to this week’s first show. Among the tech news that Patrick and Robert discuss are the death of WinFS, paying for parking meters with cellphones, and cheap routers with one catch; you have to share your bandwidth. The crew takes a good long look at Blu-Ray and new devices that are coming out that support it, an in depth look at Opera 9, and a boatload of viewer questions.
