This week’s Security Now! is all about spyware. Leo and Steve talk about Spyware, and Steve, who essentially invented the term Spyware, explains how he discovered spyware and what he did about it, and how the companies that thought that spyware was going to be the next big advertising platform reacted to being called “spyware.” They talk about how to protect yourself from spyware and the dangers of spyware, and gets into some of the details about what spyware does, why it’s such a huge problem, and how we got into this spyware mess in the first place.
Definitely a good listen, and in the end they reccomend some excellent tips for spyware protection and removal, as well as how to lock down your web browser. Enjoy!
